Job summary

RK Industries, LLC is seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead water and mechanical construction projects in the Denver area. You will coordinate project teams, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure safe, compliant delivery from preconstruction through closeout.

Responsibilities include client and subcontractor communications, procurement coordination, change management, and timely billing. The role emphasizes strong leadership and a track record of on-time, on-budget project outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5-6 years of relevant project or construction experience; a degree in a related field or equivalent.
• Strong technical knowledge of process mechanical piping systems.
• Knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, procurement, cost control, forecasting, and labor productivity.
• Knowledge of contract administration, change orders, submittals, progress billing, and project closeout; proficiency with project management and scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of project staff and field teams.
• Oversee assigned water and hydronic system projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Review scope, contract requirements, deliverables, and timelines.
• Secure, review, process, and execute customer contracts.
• Participate in Sales-to-Operations turnover meetings to confirm scope and risks.
• Develop and maintain project budgets and schedules.
• Coordinate procurement and buyout planning to meet schedule and budget.
• Oversee construction activities and equipment, SCADA, and dosing systems.
• Ensure compliance with permits, safety, and quality control.
• Manage subcontract agreements and communications.
• Process change orders and keep records of scope and cost changes.
• Staff projects with appropriate labor resources and monitor productivity.
• Oversee tool/equipment use and returns.
• Monitor financial performance and earned value where applicable.
• Prepare monthly contract valuations and billing schedules.
• Maintain cash positions and collect payments.
• Review invoices from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Facilitate regular project meetings and communicate status.
• Support turnover to owners and end users.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships and identify growth opportunities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
