BKF Engineers is seeking a Construction Inspector to perform onsite inspections of pipelines, water mains, sewers, lift stations, and treatment plants to ensure compliance with contract requirements and permits.

Qualifications

• College degree or 5+ years of related field experience.
• Valid California Class C driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite inspections of pipelines, water mains, sewers, lift stations, and treatment plants.
• Inform contractors of variances from approved plans and specifications.
• Collect samples, prepare test specimens, and assist field tests or lab analyses.
• Verify material conformity via COs, shop drawings, and test reports.
• Maintain diaries, photo logs, and contract item quantities.
