Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 3 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Experience in manual labor, general construction, water utility systems, or mechanical/hydromechanical systems.
• Ability to obtain relevant licenses within stated timelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform water/wastewater distribution tasks: install, connect, test, maintain, and repair mains, laterals, valves, hydrants, and meters.
• Supervise small crews and provide training for safe equipment operation.
• Operate and maintain equipment such as air compressors, jackhammers, trucks, and backhoes.
• Respond to public inquiries and ensure safety at work sites with proper traffic control.
