Voda Cleaning & Restoration of Jersey Shore in Wall Township, NJ is seeking an experienced Water Damage Lead Technician (Crew Chief) to lead hands-on restoration work, supervise crews on residential and commercial sites, and drive quality outcomes for customers in stressful moments.

This role emphasizes strong leadership, clear communication with homeowners, managers and adjusters, and adherence to IICRC S500 standards while mentoring junior techs and coordinating with project managers to

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in water damage restoration or related field.
IICRC WRT certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and on-call emergencies.
Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise water damage restoration crews on residential and commercial job sites
Perform water extraction, structural drying, and moisture mapping using industry-standard equipment
Set up and monitor drying equipment including air movers, dehumidifiers, and moisture meters
Document job progress with photos, moisture readings, and daily drying logs
Communicate with homeowners, property managers, and insurance adjusters throughout the restoration process
Ensure all work complies with IICRC S500 water damage restoration standards
Train and mentor junior technicians on proper techniques and safety protocols
Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely and efficient job completion
