Voda Cleaning & Restoration of Jersey Shore is seeking a Water Damage Lead Technician (Crew Chief) to supervise restoration crews in Wall Township, NJ. You will lead hands-on water extraction, drying, and documentation, ensuring quality and safety on every job.

The role requires coordinating with homeowners and insurers, maintaining moisture logs, and mentoring junior staff to uphold IICRC S500 standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in water damage restoration or related field.
• IICRC WRT (Water Restoration Technician) certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Experience operating extraction equipment, air movers, dehumidifiers, and moisture detection tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise water damage restoration crews on residential and commercial job sites.
• Perform water extraction, structural drying, and moisture mapping using industry-standard equipment.
• Set up and monitor drying equipment including air movers, dehumidifiers, and moisture meters.
• Document job progress with photos, moisture readings, and daily drying logs.
• Communicate with homeowners, property managers, and insurance adjusters throughout the restoration process.
• Ensure all work complies with IICRC S500 standards.
• Train and mentor junior technicians on techniques and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely completion.

Requirements:

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a crew
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
