Voda Cleaning & Restoration of Jersey Shore is seeking an experienced Water Damage Lead Technician (Crew Chief) to lead hands-on restoration work in Wall Township, NJ. You will supervise crews, perform extraction and drying tasks, and ensure work meets IICRC standards while keeping customers informed.

The role requires 2+ years in water damage restoration, strong leadership, and a flexible schedule. A valid driver's license and ability to lift heavy equipment are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in water damage restoration or related field
• IICRC WRT certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Experience operating extraction equipment, air movers, dehumidifiers, and moisture detection tools
• Strong leadership skills with ability to manage and motivate a crew
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and on-call emergencies
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in demanding environments

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise water damage restoration crews on residential and commercial job sites
• Perform water extraction, structural drying, and moisture mapping
• Set up and monitor drying equipment including air movers, dehumidifiers, and moisture meters
• Document job progress with photos, moisture readings, and daily drying logs
• Communicate with homeowners, property managers, and insurance adjusters
• Ensure all work complies with IICRC S500 standards
• Train and mentor junior technicians on techniques and safety
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely, efficient completion
• Maintain safety and quality standards on site
