Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Two years of experience in construction and/or wastewater collection.
• Georgia Commercial Driver's B license required.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment (dump trucks, backhoes, skid loaders) to support wastewater operations.
• Respond to 311 calls related to sewer spills, odor complaints, and contamination concerns.
• Repair sewer mains and install service line clean-outs.
• Draft reports documenting inspections and maintenance activities.
• Conduct hourly water sample tests and adjust chemical dosages as needed.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure safety protocols.
• Assist other crews and substitute for supervisors when needed.
