Job summary

City of Atlanta seeks a DWM Watershed Construction Maintenance Worker II (OWTR - Wastewater Pumping Stations) to respond to sewer issues, operate heavy equipment, and support wastewater collection and water treatment operations.

You will perform inspections, assist with safety, draft reports, and substitute for supervisors as needed, contributing to reliable public services and safe infrastructure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of experience in construction and/or wastewater collection.
• Georgia Commercial Driver's B license (CDL-B).

Responsibilities

• Respond to 311 calls related to sewer spills and odor complaints.
• Operate heavy equipment to support wastewater pumping stations.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and safety procedures.
• Draft reports documenting inspections and maintenance activities.
• Assist other crews and substitute for supervisors when needed.
