Job summary

Toho Water Authority is seeking a lead Treatment Operator to ensure wastewater reclamation facility operations and compliance. The role involves data collection, chemical and equipment monitoring, and assisting with budget planning and purchasing.

The candidate will supervise staff, manage work orders, and help ensure regulatory reporting such as DMRs and EPA QA/QC requirements are met. A Florida wastewater license is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of three years of relevant work experience.
• Florida Wastewater Operator License required.
• Valid Florida Class E Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily plant operations and data collection; monitor chlorine residuals and log data.
• Assist Chief Operator with employee evaluations and budgeting inputs.
• Generate and manage work orders; track purchases and invoicing; maintain inventory.
