Job summary

The ideal candidate will bring proven leadership, strong mechanical skills, and deep knowledge of coal blending and quality control to ensure safe, efficient production. You will supervise daily activities, coordinate maintenance, train staff, monitor performance metrics, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations

Qualifications

• Experience as a Superintendent or similar leadership role in wash plant or prep plant operations.
• Hands-on mechanical skills and equipment maintenance.
• Knowledge of coal blending techniques and quality control.
• Ability to lead, manage and develop a team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily operations of the wash plant.
• Ensure efficient and safe coal processing and blending to meet production targets and quality standards.
• Lead, train, and motivate plant personnel to maintain high performance and safety adherence.
• Coordinate maintenance and mechanical repairs to minimize downtime and optimize equipment reliability.
• Monitor plant performance metrics and implement improvements as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to support mine and loadout operations.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and environmental requirements.
