Job summary

Qualifications

• WV Safety Sensitive Certification required.
• Minimum of three years preparation experience in mining operations.
• Emergency Medical Technician for mining preferred.
• Quality control experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of a work force, including assigning work, tracking time, and safety coordination.
• Monitor plant performance to assure quality product and meet standards.
• Direct preventive maintenance on shift to maximize efficiency.
• Maintain production records including downtime, shipments and time sheets.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal laws and company policies.
• Detect and correct defects in material, equipment, or structure.
• Ensure refuse area is maintained according to plan.
• Lead weekly safety meetings with employees.
• Complete required state and federal reports.
