Job summary

Northern Star Resources Limited is seeking a Lead Warehouse Technician in Delta Junction, AK to oversee warehouse services, ensure accurate stock, and support on-site distribution. You will mentor Warehouse Technicians, perform stock takes, manage deliveries, and coordinate daily stores activities.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least 2 years in shipping, inventory, or related work, with forklift/telehandler experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in shipping/receiving or inventory.
• Warehouse environment experience required.
• Experience operating forklift, articulating loaders, telehandler forklift.
• Competence with office processes and software; MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular stock takes.
• Attend pre-start meetings for safety and communication.
• Accept deliveries from suppliers/freight.
• Maintain general stores management.
• Deliver consumables as needed.
• Coordinate transportation of high-priority items.
• Forecast future consumable requirements with management.
• Assist with reports and issuing documents.
• Mentor current Warehouse Technicians.
• Maintain training records for staff.
• Train and mentor new Warehouse Technicians.
