Ryder is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead in Lafayette, Indiana to guide daily warehouse operations, supervise a team, and ensure safety and efficiency on second shift.

You will manage loading, picking, packing, shipping, and cycle counting while leveraging your experience with RF scanners and Microsoft Office tools. Weekly pay, full benefits, and growth opportunities await in a drivers-friendly, safety-first environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• 1+ year as Team Lead preferred.
• 1+ year Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred.
• 1+ year warehouse experience preferred.
• RF scanner experience required (advanced).
• Forklift operator's license certified.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement efforts for operational efficiency.
• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Allocate resources and organize daily work duties for optimal shift operations.
• Inspire team members toward improved KPI performance using appropriate leadership styles.
• Provide orientation and tools to employees to perform their jobs effectively.
• Promote health and safety practices within the warehouse.
• Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Complete daily reports and propose action plans to improve operations and service levels.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
