Job summary

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of shipping/receiving supervisor experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Proven track record of internal/external customer service.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexible and able to adapt to changing work demands.

Responsibilities

• Supervise shipping, receiving and mailroom operations.
• Receive shipments and enter tracking information for disbursement.
• Deliver packages to end users following procedures.
• Uncrate shipments and dispose of containers and packaging.
• Identify, tag and document equipment per asset guidelines.
• Prepare outgoing shipments following regulations and client procedures.
• Process all priority shipments.
• Organize packing slips and fulfill customer-specific requirements daily.
• Review weekly sourcing transactions for receipt of goods.
• Ensure inventory is stocked at loading docks and copy/fax areas.
• Investigate lost/missing packages and communicate with customers.
• Coordinate large shipments to dock areas.
• Assist with general maintenance duties as requested.
• Maintain training requirements and SOP knowledge.
