Job summary

Gloucester Terminals LLC is seeking a Warehouse Lead Supervisor in Gloucester City, NJ to oversee laborers and supervisors and manage front-line warehouse operations. The role reports to the Warehouse Manager and focuses on training, planning, directing work, and evaluating performance.

Responsibilities include coordinating order picking, packing, shipping, and daily scheduling while maintaining safety and quality standards in a refrigerated environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse supervisor experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience supervising a team.
• Basic understanding of computer programs, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and capacity to develop productive business relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage order picking, checking, packing, and shipping to meet daily productivity goals.
• Schedule work for each work area.
• Serve as a liaison between the office staff, drivers, customers, and warehouse personnel to ensure process efficiency.
• Enforce quality control, including clean product, clean aisles, low error rate, and satisfactory productivity performance.
• Review and monitor security procedures, implement and perform security checks, and observe employee actions for compliance with security regulations.
• Monitor employee work performance for accuracy, neatness, and adherence to policies and procedures.
