Job summary

Technica LLC is seeking Warehouse Specialist Leads for 3rd shift in support of DLA New Cumberland, PA. The role involves leading warehousing operations, directing staff, and coordinating material handling activities to ensure accurate receiving, storage, and shipment processes.

The position requires expertise in using government data systems (DSS), forklift operation certificates, and the ability to work in variable conditions.

Qualifications

• Uses DSS and other Government Data Systems resolving common error conditions.
• Must be able to be cleared for a NACI clearance to obtain a CAC.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to obtain and retain a forklift operating certificate (weight <300 lbs).
• Must be able to work in an environment exposed to hot and cold.
• Ability to learn and operate MHE including stand-up and sit-down forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Verifies materials against receiving documents and reports discrepancies.
• Routes materials to prescribed locations.
• Stores, stacks, or palletizes materials per storage methods.
• Rearranges and inventories stored materials; reports deterioration/damage.
• Examines stored materials and reports issues.
• Directs workers in warehousing operations using equipment and systems.
• Plans use of subordinate workers, equipment, facilities, and materials weekly or monthly.
• Sets deadlines, priorities and work sequences per project schedules.
