Job summary

Technica LLC seeks a Warehouse Specialist Lead for 3rd shift to support DLA New Cumberland, PA. This role directs warehousing operations, oversees storage and distribution, and ensures safety and efficiency in daily tasks.

The ideal candidate has experience in material handling, forklift operations, and the ability to obtain a CAC and NACI clearance. On-site work in a government contract environment offers growth opportunities and critical mission support.

Qualifications

• Uses DSS and other Government Data Systems resolving common error conditions.
• Must be able to obtain a CAC via a NACI clearance.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to obtain forklift operating certificate (under 300 lbs incl. safety harness).
• Must be able to work in an environment exposed to the elements, hot and cold.
• Ability to learn and operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including stand-up and sit-down forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Performs warehousing duties; verifies materials against receiving documents and reports discrepancies.
• Routes materials to storage locations and pallets or shelves.
• Operates hand or power trucks as needed for warehousing tasks.
• Oversees storage and distribution operations and directs warehouse staff.
• Plans workload, equipment, and staffing based on projections; sets deadlines and sequences.
