Job summary

World Wide Technology is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for the Shipping department on the 2nd shift in Edwardsville, IL. The role leads 10–25 warehouse staff, oversees receiving, moving, picking and shipping activities, and reports to the Warehouse Manager.

Qualifications include an Associate’s degree, 5+ years warehousing experience, PIT operation, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

• Experience operating a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) and warehouse equipment.
• 5+ years of warehousing experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review safety protocols and processes for best practices of equipment operation.
• Identify interrelated work activities across teams and recommend process improvements.
• Remove barriers to implement new ideas by securing resources or support from senior management.
• Ensure initiatives focus on measurable results and establish success metrics.
• Guide ordering, shipping, and warehousing processes for a consistent production flow.
• Conduct deep data reviews to identify root causes and implement solutions.
• Define objectives and resources to complete projects on time.
