Job summary

AHEAD leads in digital platform delivery and data center infrastructure. We are seeking a motivated Lead Warehouse Associate to guide daily warehouse operations in Libertyville, IL, ensuring safe, efficient, and accurate order fulfillment.

You will lead a team, delegate tasks, and uphold our standards for safety, security, and productivity. The role requires 3–5 years in warehouse operations, supervisory experience, and the ability to train and develop staff.

Qualifications

• Must be able to supervise and motivate a warehouse team.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with receiving, picking, packing, and shipping processes.
• Proficient reading and writing in English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily departmental activities and supervise staff per policies.
• Lead a team of warehouse associates to maintain productivity and accuracy.
• Assign tasks and manage labor according to receive-pick-pack-ship workflows.
• Resolve employee issues and enforce company policies fairly.
• Oversee all picking, receiving, packing, and shipping tasks to meet KPIs.
• Drive continuous improvement and support warehouse projects.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve scheduling or inventory issues.
• Informe staff about constraints and coordinate with support groups to resolve problems.
• Communicate with vendors about delays and inventory discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and SOPs.
