Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ years warehousing/receiving/inventory control in a manufacturing environment
• 2+ years supervisory experience
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, receiving, inventory control, and material handling
• Experience with safety programs and compliance in a manufacturing warehouse
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and bar code tech; AS400 a plus

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily receiving, shipping, inventory control, and material handling operations
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments of finished goods and materials
• Validate shipping documentation (Bills of Lading, manifests)
• Ensure warehouse safety procedures and plant safety initiatives
• Maintain forklift safety audits and oversee lift truck operations and PM
• Manage inventory rotation, dunnage, and space utilization
• Coordinate with production, inventory control, inside sales, and planning to improve workflow
• Supervise staffing levels, schedules and daily workflow
• Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback
• Support 5S and sanitation, and prepare department budgets and future material needs
• Handle hazardous materials and international shipments as applicable
• Apply union contract requirements where applicable
