Job summary

Vans is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee multiple areas within a shift at our distribution center in California. You will ensure accurate and timely operations of Processing and Value Added Services, manage daily DC activities, and coordinate with delivery and distribution schedules to meet targets and satisfy customers.

The ideal candidate has an Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred) and substantial experience in warehouse leadership, with strong organizational and communication

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Equivalent years of experience in a substantially similar industry may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Generally six years of progressive experience with one year of supervisory experience.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Proficient in core computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and ability to interact with all levels of management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, loading and unloading trucks, stacking, picking, and packing finished products.
• Identify space requirements and coordinate storage with delivery and distribution schedules to meet DC goals and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain equipment and ensure a safe work environment; suggest procedure changes for increased efficiency.
• Promote a Safety culture and participate in continuous improvement using LEAN methodologies.
