Job summary

CJ Logistics America is seeking a Warehouse Lead to coordinate and oversee daily warehouse operations. The role involves assigning tasks, coaching staff, and supporting process improvements while maintaining safety and productivity.

You will work on the 2nd shift with typical hours, and you may be asked to operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks. Competitive wages reflect experience and responsibilities in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent or related experience.
• At least three years of related warehouse experience.
• Extensive knowledge of warehouse practices, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to operate forklift equipment, including electric pallet jacks.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Strong interpersonal communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assign daily tasks to warehouse production workforce and support staff to ensure efficient workflow and coverage.
• Monitor operations on the warehouse floor and provide real-time problem-solving and support.
• Assist with scheduling and planning of warehouse activities as directed by the Supervisor.
• Operate forklift equipment and electric pallet jack as needed to support workflow.
• Coach and provide on-the-job training for new and existing employees.
• Ensure safety policies are followed and PPE usage is enforced.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, supervisors, and management to share updates.
