Job summary

Acuity Inc. in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Warehouse Materials Manager to oversee receiving, put-away, and material handling to support production and WIP inventory flow.

The role leads a team of receiving and material handling personnel, enforces safety and quality standards, and monitors budget and regulatory compliance.

This critical position partners with operations and supply chain leaders to continuously improve processes, accuracy in reporting, and overall material flow across the site.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in warehouse operations.
• 3–5 years of experience in leadership and people management.
• Advanced conversational English skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn additional software tools.
• Experience managing or supporting inventory-related projects.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with operations managers and cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Physical capability to exert up to 50 lb. of force occasionally, up to 20 lb. of force frequently, or up to 10 lb. of force constantly.
• Preferred: Experience handling >$10 million USD inventory with >10,000 SKUs and leading salaried employees.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the receiving and material handling teams, including scheduling and workload assignments.
• Coordinate with Material Handling Leads to meet standards for MP, D-KB, MRP, DSY, excess inventory, and transaction reporting.
• Develop and improve processes for receiving, inventory control, material handling, and WIP control.
• Ensure budget compliance for receiving operations.
• Maintain compliance with OEA, CTPAT, SOX requirements and documentation processes.
• Monitor hourly personnel for safety, quality and productivity.
