Wilbur-Ellis in Michigan is seeking a Lead Warehouse Representative to manage inventory, process orders, and uphold safety across the yard and warehouse. You will oversee stock levels, labeling, and paperwork, while guiding a team of warehouse staff and drivers to ensure efficient operations.

The role requires forklift experience, solid leadership, and proficiency with Windows-based systems. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with training on safety and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience and at least 18 years old
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Experience as a forklift driver (certification offered on the job)
• Expertise operating material handling equipment including forklift, order picker, and pallet jack
• Proficient with computers utilizing Microsoft Windows
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Provide support to drivers and warehouse personnel.
• Oversee efficient operation of yard, warehouse, and vehicles.
• Maintain accurate inventory records with proper paperwork.
• Provide oversight for equipment maintenance.
• Determine storage locations for products.
• Complete hazardous material shipping papers and train staff on regulations.
• Meet regulatory safety and training requirements.
• Ensure parts are in stock and maintain inventory records.
• Organize and maintain safety training and records.
• Build influence across teams and communicate to support goals.
