Job summary

Crew2 is seeking a warehouse operations lead in Madison, WI to oversee a rural warehouse that supports subcontractors and vendor partners. You will be responsible for opening/closing the facility, inventory control, and coordinating with service providers to ensure smooth daily operations.

The role requires self-direction, leadership experience, and strong organizational and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to lift heavy objects and pass a pre-employment physical.

Qualifications

• Must pass a pre-employment physical.
• Warehouse experience is required.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds alone and up to 150 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee warehouse operations with vendors to optimize productivity and profitability.
• Manage materials receipt and shipping; update inventory tracking systems.
• Monitor stock levels; maintain records and complete paperwork.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly and year-end inventory counts and reconciliations.
• Prepare carpet for next-day installs; verify cuts and work orders.
• Coordinate the morning show to foster installer relationships.
• Deliver and retrieve carpet and supplies as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety rules and regulations.
