Job summary

Americold in Vineland, NJ is seeking a Warehouse Associate to safely receive, store, and ship food products using sit-down and stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF equipment. You will help coordinate workflow, train associates, and ensure on-time completion of tasks.

You will perform loading, unloading, moving goods to storage, picking orders, counting freight, maintaining security, and supporting inventories while upholding OSHA standards and a clean work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; three months related experience preferred.
• Relevant certifications.
• Some computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct work of others up to 25%; review shift plan with supervisor and train associates.
• Load and unload freight using equipment safely and efficiently.
• Move product to storage areas with proper equipment.
• Efficiently stack and store merchandise in designated areas.
• Pick orders for shipment and assemble merchandise for dispatch.
• Check freight for accuracy, damage, or infestation, and report issues.
• Assist in maintaining warehouse security and safety compliance.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in inventories as needed.
• Label, sort, wrap, pack, and repack items as required.
• Operate equipment safely: stand-up fork lifts, walk-behind forklifts, pallet jacks, RF devices.
