Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in warehouse operations preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • Experience operating Material Handling Equipment preferred.

Pay range: $22.55 - $31.94 per hour (includes shift differential)

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. This includes warehousing, fulfillment, transportation, inventory management, and demand, supply, and manufacturing planning.

Warehouse Operations performs manual or automated tasks necessary for receipt, storage, and shipment of products, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, and delivery. It ensures the efficient flow of products from receipt to shipment to internal and external customers.

Job Summary

The Lead Associate, Warehouse Operations supports the Warehouse Supervisor in inbound or outbound management of the warehouse floor. The role involves directing warehouse staff, coordinating shipment receipt and scheduling, delegating work, producing productivity reports, and communicating with customers to ensure satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Follow SOPs to assess inventory, submit orders, and audit warehouse operations.
  • Direct workflows like packing, unloading, receiving, and shipping.
  • Analyze data and reports to evaluate productivity and efficiency.
  • Align with Warehouse Supervisors on priorities.
  • Assist in workload forecasting based on historical data.
  • Apply continuous improvement principles.
  • Assist with inventory management, stocking, and shipping as needed.
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in warehouse operations, preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and follow-up skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), preferred.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience operating Material Handling Equipment (Reach Truck, stand-up counterbalance), preferred.
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent, preferred.
