Job Description

Pay range: $22.55 - $31.94 per hour (includes shift differential)

What Warehouse Operations Contributes To Cardinal Health:

Operations handles materials handling and product distribution, including warehousing, fulfillment, transportation, inventory management, and planning.

Warehouse Operations performs manual or automated tasks for receipt, storage, and shipment of products, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, and delivery, ensuring efficient flow from receipt to shipment.

Job Summary:

The Lead Warehouse Associate supports the Warehouse Supervisor in inbound/outbound management, directs warehouse staff, coordinates shipments, schedules trucks, delegates work, and reports on productivity and quality. They also communicate with customers regarding disruptions and delivery updates.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow SOPs to assess inventory, submit orders, and audit warehouse operations.
  • Direct workflows including packing, unloading, receiving, and shipping.
  • Analyze data to monitor productivity and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with Warehouse Supervisors on priorities.
  • Assist in workload forecasting based on trends.
  • Apply continuous improvement principles.
  • Help with inventory management, stocking, and shipping as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years in warehouse operations and management systems preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and follow-up skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Experience operating Material Handling Equipment preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Maintain licenses and certifications.
  • Work independently on complex problems.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements.
