Job summary

R.S. Hughes Co, Inc. is seeking a Lead Warehouse Associate in Florida to support daily warehouse logistics. You will coordinate activities, train staff, and act as the go-to person for the department, ensuring safety and policy adherence.

The role requires 5+ years of warehouse lead experience, Hazmat certification, forklift operation, and strong organizational skills. This is a full-time position with comprehensive benefits and competitive pay.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED equivalent.
5+ years previous warehouse lead experience.

Responsibilities

Order Fulfillment: pull customer orders, ensure accuracy, manage Will Calls and cycle counts.
Receiving and Unloading: inspect received items, log into ERP, coordinate with POs, unload freight.
Shipping: label orders, handle hazardous materials per OSHA and internal protocols, final inspection before shipping.
Quality Control: perform QA checks, inspect for defects, ensure safety documentation, hazmat oversight.
Coaching & Mentoring: train and mentor employees per SOPs, provide feedback for growth.
Operations Assignments: assist Ops Manager, conduct audits, communicate updates.
Additional Assignments: perform admin tasks, data entry, organize hazmat meetings, manage equipment maintenance, conduct daily counts.
