Job summary

White Cap is hiring immediately for a Lead Warehouse Associate. You will coach and train junior staff, safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and move merchandise, and help ensure accurate shipping and receiving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred.
• Attention to detail essential for accurate receiving and shipping.
• Spanish language proficiency a plus for diverse team communication.
• Coaching or mentoring junior warehouse associates is valued.

Responsibilities

• Coaches and trains junior warehouse associates on proper process and procedure.
• Safely operates a forklift to load, unload, and move merchandise.
• Picks, packs, and ships products to customers.
• Receives, counts, and records shipment information into the system.
• May work inside the warehouse or outside in the yard.
• Lifts and carries material up to 50 pounds.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Generally has 5-7 years of experience in area of responsibility.
