Job summary

White Cap is seeking a Lead Warehouse Associate in an on-site role to support warehouse operations in Austin, TX. You will coach junior staff, safely operate a forklift, and manage the flow of goods from receiving to shipping, while maintaining accurate shipment records.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping, receiving, and material handling.
• Ability to coach junior associates and lead warehouse activities.
• Familiarity with forklift operations and warehouse safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Coaches and trains junior warehouse associates on proper process and procedure.
• Safely operates a forklift to load, unload, and move merchandise.
• Picks, packs, and ships products to customers.
• Receives, counts, and records shipment information into the system.
• May work inside the warehouse or outside in the yard.
• Lifts and carries material up to 50 pounds.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Generally has 5-7 years of experience in area of responsibility.
