Penske Logistics in California is seeking an experienced Warehouse Lead to supervise daily warehouse operations, support associates and temporary staff, and collaborate with Operations Supervisors to meet productivity, safety and service goals. This is a cold storage facility (28° F to 55° F). Schedule: Sunday–Wednesday, 2:00 pm–12:30 am.
Pay: $24.66/hr plus a $1/hr shift differential. Benefits include PTO, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K, boot allowance and referral programs.
Competenze
- High School Diploma or GED required/recommended.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or equivalent warehouse software.
Mansioni
- Lead and support daily warehouse operations and assigned associates.
- Stage, sort, load, and unload products and trailers.
- Execute operational processes and provide visibility to Operations Supervisors.
- Promote and support Safety and Well-Being initiatives.
- Move, store, and distribute materials throughout the warehouse.
- Pick, pack, label, shrink-wrap, and prepare products for shipment.
- Utilize warehouse management systems and scanners to track inventory and orders.
