Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking a Lead Warehouse Worker to join our team in Wilmer, TX. This role provides leadership and support to both regular and temporary warehouse associates while assisting with daily operations in a fast-paced environment.

We offer competitive pay at $22.50 per hour base with a $1.00 shift differential, plus benefits including PTO and medical, dental, and vision insurance. Must be able to work Sundays through Wednesdays and lift heavy materials as required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of warehouse experience required.
• 1 year of supervisory experience required.
• Forklift experience required.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint preferred.
• Ability to work overtime and in a cold storage environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor workflow throughout the shift to maintain efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead and support a team of warehouse associates with daily direction and coverage.
• Operate stand-up forklifts and electric pallet jacks to move, stage, load, unload materials safely.
• Open and run the shift, including shift huddles in the absence of the Operations Supervisor.
• Cross-train in multiple warehouse functions within the first 90 days.
