Job summary

Cardinal Health’s Warehouse Operations team is responsible for receiving, storing and shipping products, while ensuring quality and adherence to safety and policy standards. The schedule runs Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm, with overtime as needed.

The role emphasizes teamwork, process improvements and strong leadership. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of related experience, solid Microsoft Office skills and a commitment to safety and accuracy in daily tasks.

Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and follow up skills preferred.
  • 4+ years experience, preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office
  • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Strong leadership skills are essential

Responsibilities

  • Works closely with management to maintain receiving standards and ensure that proper processes are followed.
  • Support the supervisor in leading the team’s efforts in adhering to all government regulations (OSHA, DEA, SBOP, FDA) as well as safety, security and cleanliness of the warehouse.
  • Ensures Cardinal Health’s principles, policies and procedures are consistently practiced.
  • Coordinate workflow to accomplish overall business objectives (i.e., pick, pack and ship on time and accurately, cycle counts, returns, and clean-up).
  • Fill in and perform functional tasks (i.e., stock, label totes) daily where/when necessary
  • Handles general employee inquiries and solves problems
  • Maintains positive employee relations; promotes team environment and facilitates process improvement
  • Work closely with other leads and supervisors within the facility to promote teamwork
  • Plan daily workload and assignments
  • Lead safety and quality discussions while maintaining productivity

Job description

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.

Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm (Overtime when needed)

Anticipated hourly range: $26.20 per hour - $30.96 per hour
