Job summary

Salt Lake City Corporation seeks a Senior Warehouse Operator to manage inventory, requisitions, and material handling. The role involves receiving, storing and issuing tools and equipment, inspecting items, and maintaining accurate records.

Occasional leadership duties and potential supervision in the absence of a supervisor are included. Requires a high school diploma with four years of warehouse experience, knowledge of inventory software, and ability to operate forklifts.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or certified equivalent plus four years' warehouse experience.
• Knowledge of computerized inventory programs for ordering, tracking, reconciling and maintaining proper levels.
• Ability to input information accurately and perform basic math calculations.
• Knowledge of basic hand and power tools.
• Valid driver's license or driving privilege card; experience operating warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain perpetual inventory of warehouse stock and replenish as needed.
• Process requisitions, receive, unload and store materials and equipment.
• Inspect goods for quality and accuracy against invoices and orders.
• Prepare purchasing documents and assign materials to budget accounts.
• Interact with vendors, supervisors and maintenance staff regularly.
• May act as Warehouse Supervisor in absence of supervisor.
