Job summary

Shiseido Americas Distribution Center in Columbus, OH is seeking a Warehouse Lead to collaborate with the Quality Assurance Supervisor to uphold high standards of efficiency and quality for internal and external customers, driving a smooth flow of products.

You will provide daily direction to the team, reinforce safety and security policies, and partner with leadership to achieve department goals in a fast-paced, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in a warehouse or quality position.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment and RF scanners preferred.
• Strong English communication, math, reading, and writing skills.
• Proficient with PC, Outlook, PDFs, Word, Excel, and inventory systems.

• Enforce company policies and procedures. Provide feedback when inconsistencies are observed.
• Meet deadlines and goals established by department supervisor or manager.

Job Summary

The Warehouse Lead works closely with Quality Assurance Supervisor to establish, create, implement, and enforce company initiatives/policies while maintaining the highest standards of efficiency and quality for our internal and external customers. Provides work direction to team daily to increase efficiency and accuracy by communicating with fellow Leads to ensure a smooth flow of product.

What You Will Do

• You will act as a liaison between management and team members. Speaks respectively of company and team members
• You will enforce company policies and procedures. Provides feedback to Supervisor when inconsistencies are observed
• You will meet deadlines and goals established by department supervisor or manager
• You will lead by example. Approachable. Follows through on promises and commitments. Demonstrates consistency between words and actions
• You will maintain and enforce company Safety and Security policies
• You will recognize the impact of own decisions on company, customers, and team members
• You will support the supervisor with establishing goals based on department headcount, delegating tasks, using reporting to monitor progress and providing updates to leadership on obstacles and issues.

Who You Are

• You have a minimum of one (1) year experience in a warehouse or quality position; or any equivalent combination of acceptable training, education, and experience
• You have experience using warehouse equipment and RF scanner preferred.
• You can learn & perform all processes as needed
• You have effective verbal and written communication skills
• You have problem solving skills
• You have strong English language, math, reading, and writing skills
• You have experience using business tools such as PC or Laptop, Outlook, PDF, Word, Excel, BY/Cognos and Inventory management systems.

The hourly rate for this position may vary based on geographic location. Pay is based on several factors including knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base pay, we may offer additional forms of compensation as part of a total compensation package, including a full range of benefits.
