Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience troubleshooting electronics or an equivalent education/experience combination.

Responsibilities

• Repairs variable speed drives and downhole equipment.
• Conducts well analysis and troubleshoots surface and downhole equipment.
• Suggests design improvements to maximize VSD performance and life.
• Repairs VSDs, surface sensor equipment and communications equipment.
• Trains other technicians in drive set-up and minor repairs.
• Maintains all required paperwork on service reports and tickets.
• Ensures compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
• Promotes quality improvement processes.
• Job tasks have budgetary accountability.
• Assists in supervising others and provides basic training and guidance.
