Job summary

Halliburton, a world‑leading energy services company, is seeking an entry‑level R&M Electrical Technician I to support Sperry Drilling operations in Houston. You will perform repairs, calibration, testing and preventative maintenance on downhole tool electronics and drilling systems.

Under supervision, you’ll assist with assembly/disassembly, document work, follow HSE and quality procedures, and help ensure equipment availability for field deployment.

Qualifications

Technical certificate in electronics or related field.
Associate degree preferred.
Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and use diagnostic software.

Responsibilities

Conduct repairs, testing, calibration, and preventive maintenance on downhole tool electronics and drilling systems.
Assist with assembly and disassembly of MWD/LWD, RSS, and directional drilling tools according to specs.
Perform electronic troubleshooting and component replacement under supervision.
Maintain accurate service records and calibration logs.
Follow HSE, quality, and reliability procedures for safe and compliant work.
