Job summary
The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) is seeking an experienced virtualization engineer to design, implement, and automate the virtualization and VDI environments. You will provide advanced support for VMware-based platforms, including Horizon and VXRail, and collaborate with IT and security teams to enhance the security posture and disaster recovery readiness.
Ideal candidates have 5+ years of VMware and Cisco UCS experience, hands-on VXRail expertise, and strong scripting skills to drive
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required with 5+ years VMware and Cisco UCS experience.
- Hands-on experience with VMware Horizon, vROPS, SDDC Manager, VSAN, SRM, vRA, vRO is expected.
- Experience with VXRail hyperconverged systems is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced support to UCS - VMware environment.
- Support VXRail VDI environment.
- Develop baselines, evaluate, and remediate vulnerabilities and security findings.
- Meet with Business, IT and Security Leaders to develop requirements and communicate changes to the environment.
- Automate processes in the VMware environment.
- Troubleshoot production problems in the virtualization environment.
- Document changes, policies and procedures and drawings.
