Job summary

Mills James is seeking an experienced Video Specialist to join our Live Events team at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. This hands on role is responsible for preparing, installing, programming, and operating video systems that power memorable live event experiences.

You will collaborate with producers, designers, technical directors, and production teams to translate creative concepts into flawless visual experiences for in-person audiences, livestreams, and recordings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4+ years of professional experience in live event video production.
• Advanced knowledge of live video technologies, including projection alignment and image blending.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, install, program, and operate video systems for live events.
• Direct the video components of productions as a V1, V2, or Team Lead.
• Oversee camera operations, video playback, graphic cueing and content execution.
• Ensure video systems are configured and operating safely, efficiently, and reliably.
