Smartsheet in Bellevue, WA seeks a Lead Video Producer to own the Bellevue video studio, direct productions end to end, and set the bar for Smartsheet video content—from live events to social content. The role blends creative direction with leadership, requiring narrative storytelling and hands-on craft.

You will manage editors, motion graphics artists, and freelancers, collaborating with stakeholders and executives while leveraging AI-powered tools to drive efficiency.

Qualifications

• 8 or more years producing video content, with significant time in a marketing, brand studio, or agency environment.
• A portfolio showing outstanding creative and storytelling capabilities across multiple formats.
• Demonstrated experience as a camera operator with cinema and mirrorless bodies and color pipeline.
• Practical lighting and location audio skills for interviews and set lighting design.
• Experience running a studio space, including gear ownership, technical setup, and workflow documentation.
• End-to-end production experience with deadlines and multiple priorities.
• Experience using AI-powered tooling and LLMs to drive efficiency.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop).
• Solid understanding of audio recording, mixing, and color grading.
• Experience directing crew and mentoring less senior producers.
• Comfortable working with executives and stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Flexibility to learn plug-ins like Cinema4D, DaVinci Resolve, and Figma.

Responsibilities

• Lead productions from conception to completion across events, social content, campaigns, and brand films.
• Direct and manage freelance crew (DPs, gaffers, audio, grips, assistants).
• Create projects with a compelling story, pitch, and finished asset.
• Produce and coordinate work involving internal teams, customers, freelancers, and agencies.
• Cut and finish your own work and provide constructive feedback to others.
