Job summary

Venture Christian Church is seeking a Video Production Lead to create compelling film, video, and live content that supports weekend experiences, ministry initiatives, storytelling, and the Venture Institute. Working with the Creative Director, you will shepherd projects from concept through final delivery, while developing volunteers and in-house capabilities to tell Venture's stories with excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and relevant industry experience, preferably in ministry.
• Demonstrated filmmaking and editing ability; portfolio required, including at least one story-driven piece and one live or broadcast example.
• Proficiency in a professional editing application (DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere) and working knowledge of lighting, audio capture, and camera operation.
• Experience directing live multi-camera video or a comparable live production environment.
• Experience leading or coordinating volunteers or a small crew and working within a project management system in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative and innovative thinker.
• Strong project management, administrative, and organizational skills.
• Photography, animation, and/or motion graphic design are a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Personal calling and giftedness from God to be a shepherd and spiritual leader.

Responsibilities

• Develop, film, edit, and deliver compelling video content for weekend services, ministry initiatives, and storytelling.
• Collaborate with the Creative Director and ministry leaders from concept through final delivery.
• Ensure work is timely, professional, authentic, and appropriately scaled to the audience.
• Assist the Production Team with set designs and large-scale events.
• Lead video production planning for weekend services, promotions, and significant weekends.
• Partner with the team to plan and produce podcasts, interviews, and instructional videos.
• Provide filming, editing, lighting, audio, and post-production expertise for each project.
• Own podcast production and publishing process from recording through release.
