Philadelphia Animal Specialty and Emergency (PASE) in Philadelphia seeks a dedicated Technician Trainer to join our team. This role splits time between hands-on clinical work (75%) and training/administrative responsibilities (25%), reporting to the Technician Manager.

Ideal candidate is a credentialed technician passionate about mentorship and education and wants to shape the next generation of veterinary technicians while remaining active on the floor.

Qualifications

• Credentialed veterinary technician with strong mentoring abilities.
• Experience training, mentoring, or precepting veterinary technicians or assistants.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for teaching and feedback.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on patient care as part of the technical team (≈75%).
• Design, deliver, and improve onboarding and skills training for new technicians and assistants.
• Develop and lead ongoing continuing education and skills refreshers for staff.
