Job summary
Mission Pet Health's Cole Veterinary Hospital in Spring, TX is seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join a high-performing medical team. You will administer treatments, monitor anesthesia, and perform lab work while maintaining compassionate patient care.
You will mentor teammates, support clients with clear communication, and uphold our rigorous standards in a well-equipped facility that values growth and collaboration across a nationwide network.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
- A current state veterinary technician license in good standing.
- Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laboratory procedures.
- Calm and efficient approach, especially in fast-paced or stressful situations.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for working collaboratively.
- One year of experience in the veterinary industry is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care, including administering treatments, monitoring anesthesia, and performing lab work.
- Be a Leader and Mentor: guide and support the medical team, ensuring efficient workflow and growth.
- Partner with Clients: educate pet owners, review medical records, and answer questions.
- Contribute to a Positive Culture: participate in training and uphold hospital standards.
