Job summary

The University of Minnesota seeks a Clinical Supervisor 4 to lead daily technical operations in the Veterinary Medical Center. You will supervise staff, coordinate imaging services, manage inventory and finances, and ensure high-quality patient care in a fast-paced educational setting.

Responsibilities include training staff and students, maintaining safety and infection control, and collaborating with DVMs to optimize service delivery within AFSCME guidelines.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in related field or equivalent plus years of experience.
• Technical supervisory training or license required (MVMA/MAVT or equivalent).
• At least 3 years in veterinary care or health care environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical lead for multiple services, equipment, and staff management.
• Maintain the Medical Imaging schedule and supervise clinical spaces staff.
• Hire, transfer, discipline, and evaluate staff; set performance goals.
• Ensure infection control and sanitation across the work environment.
• Coordinate training, onboarding, and professional development for staff.
