Job summary

The University of Minnesota Veterinary Medical Center seeks a Clinical Supervisor 4 to oversee daily technical operations in Small and Large Animal Medical Imaging. You will lead clinical staff, maintain imaging schedules, and ensure high-quality patient care within a learning environment.

Responsibilities include staff hiring, training, infection control, and adherence to safety and policy standards while collaborating with DVMs and leadership to improve service delivery.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in related fields and 5 years of relevant work experience, or a combination totaling 9 years.
• Technical training and supervisory education is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a veterinary care or healthcare environment.
• Knowledge of veterinary medicine terminology.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing; strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision of daily technical operations and staff within the service area.
• Maintain the Medical Imaging schedule and supervise clinical spaces.
• Hire, transfer, promote, discharge, and coach staff; address grievances.
• Oversee infection control and maintain a clean working environment.
• Ensure services are charged according to hospital fee schedules.
• Coordinate training and onboarding for staff and students.
