Qualifications

• 7+ years of Veterinary Assistant experience preferred.
• 3+ years of leadership experience preferred.
• Proficiency in veterinary assistant duties, patient handling, cleaning protocols, and client communication.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift, coordinate workflow, and ensure adequate staff coverage.
• Mentor and support veterinary technicians and assistants.
• Identify workflow gaps and partner with hospital management to implement improvements.
• Assist veterinarians in patient care and maintain accurate medical records.
• Explain discharge instructions and estimates to clients.
• Maintain hospital cleanliness, organization, and infection control standards.
