Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong ability to lead by example and motivate others.
• Proficiency in veterinary assistant functions including patient handling and client communication.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Shift: coordinate workflow, assign tasks, ensure staff coverage.
• Mentor veterinary technicians and assistants, provide onboarding support and development opportunities.
• Identify workflow gaps and partner with management to implement improvements.
• Support veterinarians in patient care, maintain medical records and infection control.
• Enhance client experience through scheduling, check-ins, discharge explanations and estimates.
• Maintain hospital standards: keep environment clean, organized, and safe.
