Mission Pet Health is seeking a Medical Lead Veterinarian to guide a five-doctor team in Meridian, Idaho. You will balance leadership duties with clinical practice, mentoring colleagues while striving for high medical standards and excellent client service.

You will help shape annual plans, monitor financial performance, and advance professional development through CE and leadership training, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration.

Qualifications

• DVM degree and a valid state license.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
• Servant leadership mentality with commitment to core values and collaborative relationships.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Understanding of hospital financial and operating management.
• Proficiency in MS Office and related software.
• Enthusiasm for a progressive, growth-oriented culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the DVM team with regular performance discussions and development goals.
• Model medical excellence in medicine, client service, and efficiency while practicing as an associate.
• Partner with the Practice Manager to develop the operating plan and manage hospital performance toward EBITDA goals.
• Lead monthly doctor meetings and supervise externship/mentorship programs.
• Act as an ambassador for the hospital and Mission Pet Health in the community.
