Job summary

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD from an accredited institution.
• Active or eligible veterinary license in the state of practice.
• Previous clinical experience required.
• Leadership, mentorship, or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership while maintaining a high standard of veterinary care.
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations; develop treatment plans.
• Mentor and support veterinarians, technicians, and staff through coaching and development.
• Promote a collaborative workplace culture focused on teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Establish and uphold medical protocols, standards, and best practices.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership to optimize workflows and client satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Participate in recruiting, onboarding, and developing veterinary team members.
• Balance active clinical caseload with leadership responsibilities.
